FOUNDER’S STORY
Founder Min Woo Song, is an entrepreneur and a driven student from Babson College. With his drive for success and a passion for education, Song’s journey shaped Stigmi Learning.
In his high school days, Song struggled with the hurdles of academics. Despite his parents investing substantially for high-priced tutors, the anticipated results lacked, largely due to his own lack of motivation. But then came a pivotal moment – a decision to take matters into his own hands with self-studying. With this self-guided approach, he was able to achieve his best academic results.
He was always aware of the gap between students and genuine learning, along with the misleading claims of overpriced services. Recognizing the need for action, upon reaching Babson College, he resolved to address the challenge personally once again, giving rise to what would evolve into Stigmi Learning.
Under Song’s guidance, Stigmi Learning achieved remarkable milestones, amassing over 1000 dedicated users. The impact of his efforts, and the journey of Stigmi Learning itself, caught the eye of EBS, a prominent Korean national broadcasting channel. The documentary showcased not only Song’s entrepreneurial zeal but also the significant role of Stigmi Learning in advancing education. Airing on national television in May 2023, it brought attention and recognition to Stigmi Learning’s innovative endeavors.

Give Chances Partnership
Stigmi Learning is partnered with a non-profit organization based in New Jersey Give Chances, a nonprofit organization that provides educational and enrichment programs to underprivileged children and teens across the US. Upon working with their students, It was heartening to see how quickly they adapted to using Stigmi Learning. The students were pleasantly surprised by the tutors’ willingness to provide clear explanations and feedback, regardless of how challenging the problem was.
